This invaluable notebook will serve as a repository for your thoughts, wishes, memories, and more, guiding you in exploring end-of-life topics and articulating your funeral or memorial service preferences.
Your death journal is not only a reflection of your life but also a legacy project where you can impart wisdom gained from your journey, leaving a profound impact on your loved ones. Your cherished memories, meaningful quotations, and important reflections will be preserved, providing comfort and connection to your family and friends long after you've passed.
During this session, we will engage in group conversations exploring thoughts around death, dying, and grief, fostering a welcoming space where all beliefs are honored. You will leave with a deeper understanding of these topics and inspired ideas for your journal. Join us in this empowering and enlightening experience.
Please remember to bring a notebook and pen and if you wish, bring a photo or something small of your ancestors.

Aypril is a Death Doula and Life + Grief Coach who supports people at the end of life and their families. She is passionate about empowering individuals and championing their autonomy in their last choices.
The venue at the Old Olympia Glass Building is accessible from the street on the ground floor with no stairs. There are no accessible toilets on-site, so we do suggest you use other local locations and facilities where possible.
