SUNDAY OCTOBER 27 ~ 2-4PM
Write your Own or Someone Else’s!
$10-$20 Suggested Donation
"Eulogy" ~ ' A speech in praise of a person, usually one who recently died'.
Join Jennie Beth Banks in this contemplative workshop where she will guide you in various prompts and exercises to gather and create a piece of Eulogy - for yourself or a loved one. Write it now to save for yours or someone else's future funeral or Celebration of Life or share with others now, while you are all here to hear it!
Jennie will share some examples of various styles to consider as we explore together its meaning for us and others.
Paper and pens will be provided but you may wish to also bring your own notebook.
Recommended preparation would be to write down any key dates, places, memories, events in your life or the life of your loved one that you want to include. You may not have time to complete it during the workshop, but hopefully will leave inspired and have some infrastructure in place to complete it later at home.
ALL WORKSHOPS ARE $10-$20 SUGGESTED DONATION TO HELP COVER SUPPLIES. PLEASE REGISTER ABOVE AND MAKE YOUR DONATION ONLINE. IF YOU PREFER TO DONATE WITH CASH AT THE TIME OF THE WORKSHOP, THAT'S OK! JUST EMAIL US TO LET US KNOW YOU PLAN TO ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP (INFO@DEATHDANCER.ORG)
