Since May 2024, Rebecca has assisted in all program planning and operations, event logistics,
AV and technical, and community outreach.
She also works closely with Jennie as CoCurator for our annual Arts Walk Art Exhibit.
I have lived in Olympia for over 25 years and I have a background in herbal medicine, energy medicine
and meditation, and training in neurodevelopmental movement therapy. I graduated from The Evergreen State College
where I studied environmental studies, early childhood education, politics, and healing arts.
I have been helping people create more peace and ease in their lives for over 20 years, as a private chef
specializing in allergies and special diets, as well as a personal assistant, household manager, gardener,
and home organizer. In 2022, my work shifted to supporting clients who were at end of life.
I was initially inspired to work in deathcare after supporting a close friend through her end of life journey from 2017- 2019.
I then helped several others in their end of life process, which led me to complete a 120 hour death doula training
with Inspired Endings in Hawaii. I currently volunteer with hospice and End of Life Washington.
I am honored to be present with people as they move through this part of life and am available to support
individuals and families as they navigate their end of life journey. I am a nonjudgmental advocate for people's
end of life wishes, supporting families with education, resources and a compassionate presence.
I am passionate about bringing individual death doula work to the community level, through workshops and events
that provide education and resources, and by connecting local people who offer end of life services with those
who would benefit from that support.
