Embracing Our Trauma

Facilitated by Rosann Slagel LMT - Reiki Master, Intuitive Healer & Bodyworker.

Assisted by Jennie Beth Banks and Rebecca Leach of Death Dancer.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

A day workshop with guided imagery meditations, sharing circle/shared group discussion, art and journaling exercises and ritual.

We will explore ‘trauma’ as ‘teacher’ and ‘co-creator’.

Our trauma may be related to any of the following:

Grief & Loss
Ancestral Patterns
Family Dynamics
Major Life Changes
Learned Denial
Life Transitions

The process can be intense, so please use your own judgement if this workshop is a good fit for you. Be prepared to take care of yourself and your needs during and afterwards. For those that wish, we will seek to regroup at a later date for support, connection and integration.

Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable such as a blanket and/or cushion. You can also stay seated on a chair
Wear comfortable clothes
Please bring a journal if you have one. If not, we will have paper available
Please arrive 9:30-9:45 to get settled and situated for a 10am prompt start
Our day will include a lunch break and a morning and afternoon break
Bring your own lunch. Drinks and snacks will be provided
Suggested donation $30-$50 at the door but no one turned away for lack of funds (NOTAFLOF). You can place a cash donation in our basket at our check in table on the day or donate by card on the day
Free parking lot on site and nearby off-street parking

Rosann Slagel LMT is a Reiki Master, Intuitive Healer and Bodyworker. She has over 20 years of practical hands-on experience utilizing Myofascial Release as her main source of inspiration. Her main objective in her work is always to create wholeness, communication and knowledge of resources. She refuses to make a body wrong for its responses to life, stress and trauma.
