We are all going to die. It is likely that every human person you see in these photos is now dead. They lived at a time of war and world revolutions. All of them were someone’s mother or father, someone's auntie or uncle, or someone's grandparents.. Though they are no longer here (Discuss), they live in the photos of future generations and extended family and friends. 

Some photos in this set may be from the same family and 

had stories weaved between them. 

We may never know. However, these photos were also discarded by someone or dissipated into boxes in antique stories and estate sales and could be said to represent forgotten lives.
